United States Materialise announces e-Stage for Metal+ software to streamline AM builds

Materialise NV, headquartered in Leuven, Belgium, has announced the e-Stage for Metal+ module for its Magics software. The company will showcase the solution during the Additive Manufacturing Users Group (AMUG) show in Chicago, Illinois, USA, taking place from March 10-14, 2024.
According to an independent survey commissioned by Materialise, two main factors holding companies back from adopting Additive Manufacturing are a lack of knowledge and the cost associated with the production process. e-Stage for Metal+ is intended to make metal Additive Manufacturing more economically viable by overcoming these challenges. The software optimises data and build preparation for Laser Beam Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB) machines using physics-based modelling to automate the support structure generation.

e-Stage for Metal+ is a module for Magics, Materialise’s leading data and build preparation software and core element of its 3D Print Suite.
