McDonald's spicy chicken nuggets finally go on sale today – here's how you can get them for free

After what feels like a lifetime of waiting, McDonald’s spicy chicken nuggets finally launched in stores today, and fast food fans are already loving them. 

The nuggets are coated in a delicious fiery crumb, and are accompanied by a Tabasco-based spicy tomato dip. 

Pricing is as follows (store dependent):

• A box of 6 spicy McNuggets costs £3.49 - which works out at 58p per nugget. 
• A box of 9 spicy McNuggets costs £3.89 - wich works out at 43p per nugget.
• A giant 20 sharing box of spicy McNuggets costs £4.99 - which works out at 25p per nugget.

The McNuggets are available to purchase in stores and on the Mcdonald’s app. 

The McDonald’s app is currently running an offer which gives shoppers £5 off a £20 spend, meaning you can essentially bag yourself a box of 20 spicy chicken McNuggets for free. 

If you don’t need £20 worth of food in your life (but let’s be honest, who doesn’t?), the same offer entitles shoppers to £3 off a £10 spend, which means you can get a 6 pack of nuggets for just 49p. 

The offer is only available until Sunday August 11, and terms and conditions apply. 

And the savings don’t stop there, as new app users are also able to claim a free cheeseburger. 

To claim your free burger, all you need to do is find the deal on the app homepage and click ‘add to mobile order’.

Alternatively, if you’re in store you can show the app to the server at the till. 

The offer is limited to one free cheeseburger per customer, and is available until September 30.
