It says periods of heavy rain could lead to disruption, particularly to transport services.

People are being warned journey times on bus and train services could therefore take longer.

Spray and flooding on roads is also on the cards.

Meanwhile, homes and businesses could be damaged due to possible flooding.

The county could see between 15 and 25 mm of rain during the warning period.

However, some higher ground areas of southern England may see as much as 35-45 mm of rain.

The Met Office insists people living in homes at risk of flooding should consider preparing a plan and an emergency flood kit.

Drivers are also being advised to amend their travel plans, if necessary, to avoid delays.
