Aavegotchi (GHST) Auctions 'Gotchiverse' to gains 50% as Metaverse Becomes Mainstream

At the moment, Aavegotchi is making headway in the blockchain-based gaming industry with an innovative method that combines elements of P2P gaming, NFTs, and decentralized finance (DeFi).
Contributions from gaming guilds, collaborations with crypto-investment businesses, and the continuous success of the Gotchiverse auctions all contribute to a 50% growth in GHST. With the emergence of play-to-earn (P2E) gaming and the advent of NFTs, the decentralized gaming industry is expected to expand significantly in 2021.
Since its low of $1.56 on Oct. 1, according to TradingView data, the price of GHST, Aavegotchi's native token, has risen 53% to a daily high of $2.40 on Oct. Its 24-hour trading volume jumped 45 percent to $135.8 million on 29.
Current Gotchiverse land auctions need GHST bids, multiple high-profile agreements with gaming guilds and hedge funds, as well as general strength of the blockchain-based gaming industry are driving up the price of GHST.
Auctions for Gotchiverse land
The continuous 'Gotchiverse' land auctions hosted by the protocol are the major development contributing to raising the price of GHST. Holders of GHST and Gotchi are aggressively bidding to buy a "realm" in the freshly unveiled digital universe built for the project's collectible NFT.
Aavegotchi receives investment from gaming guilds
These collaborations seek to make the Aavegotchi platform more widely available. Two big gaming guilds revealed them this week.
NFT hedge fund Blackpool and video game publisher Yield Guild Games (YGG) have both invested in Aavegotchi as part of the newly formed partnerships.
The Metaverse calls
While the current bull market has focused on the Metaverse, many experts anticipate that play-to-earn and blockchain-based gaming will outperform other forms of gaming in the next several years.
In 2021, tokens in the gaming industry are expected to enjoy large price increases, with Axie Infinity (AXS) leading the way with a rise of over 25,000 percent.
As with AXS, Aavegotchi began with the release of its NFT characters before gradually expanding its gameplay. Axies and land plots inside the game now sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars thanks to the project's virtual land auctions. Axie Infinity had success with this strategy, and Aavegotchi may as well.
