Millie Bobby Brown's 'Barrymore Blonde' Hair Makes Its Red Carpet ...

Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi has made her first red carpet appearance since retiring her signature brunette locks in favour of a dramatic hair transformation. The 21-year-old actor looked unrecognisable during her appearance at last night's 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles, California, debuting a statement blonde shade inspired by the nineties, created by go-to celebrity colourist, Weronika Wysocka.
'Millie’s new hair colour is a comeback of the nineties blonde trend,' says Wysocka. 'It’s a bold opinion for this upcoming season that can make a statement and be a showstopper for brave women who like to experiment. A big transition like that is a very lengthy process but the aim is a pale blonde, without too many highs and lows so completely the opposite to highlights. The shadow of the natural root is what makes it less polished, more playful and grungy.'
We'd liken the shade to Drew Barrymore's iconic blonde from the decade, which featured bright but warm golden tones blended in a seamless, vibrant finish. Brown Bongiovi transitioned from a light brunette to the lightened colour just over three weeks ago, and has since shown off her fresh locks via Instagram while vacationing in Turks and Caicos.

To complement her vibrant, new lengths and delicate silk Louis Vuitton gown, Brown Bongiovi also stepped out with a flatteringly bronzed tan and contrasting 'soap' manicure, a stark departure from her previous signature attire. Her glossy nails were tidy and layered with a sheer wash of soft pink polish to emulate a clean, quiet luxury finish. The minimalist tips were the perfect accompaniment to her array of Chopard jewellery.

The look unsurprisingly landed Brown Bongivoi a spot on our SAG Awards best dressed list, alongside former ELLE UK cover star Cynthia Erivo and Anora's Mikey Madison.
