UFC London highlights and results LIVE as Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann win

Liverpool stars Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann both secured stunning victories at UFC Fight Night in London on Saturday.

Pimblett expertly submitted Rodrigo Vargas in the first round of their lightweight contest, sending the crowd at the O2 Arena wild.

Paddy the Baddy used his excellence in Judo and BJJ to take Vargas down with a hip toss and locking in a rear naked choke, locking it in tight giving the Mexican no choice but to tap.

Team-mate Molly McCann ran into the ring to celebrate with Pimblett having earlier scored a superb knockout of Luana Carolina.

Meatball Molly set up her opponent and hit her flush with a perfectly executed reverse spinning elbow to close the deal in the final round.

Meanwhile Manchester’s Tom Aspinall, who fights out of Liverpool, needed only one round to submit Alexander Volkov in the main event.
