Sword-wielding butchers slaughter thousands of animals to honour Hindu goddess Gadhimai in Nepal

Despite animal rights groups condemning the large-scale killing, which takes place every five years at a temple in Bariyarpur, 150 kilometres south of Kathmandu, to worship Gadhimai, the bloodshed goes ahead again.
