Watch a Newcastle v Brighton live stream as the Magpies look to continue their strong run of form

Newcastle v Brighton live stream, Saturday 5 March, 3.00pm GMT

High-flying Newcastle will be looking to continue their surge up the Premier League standings when struggling Brighton visit on Saturday.

A January spending splurge from the Magpies has helped propel them away from the relegation zone and towards mid-table security.

Newcastle are unbeaten in seven league games, winning four of the last five, a run of form that contrasts sharply with the visitors.

The Seagulls remain in the top half of the table for now, sitting comfortably in 10th place, but boss Graham Potter will be eager to end a dismal run of three consecutive defeats in which his side have failed to score a goal.

The most recent setback was a 2-0 home loss to Aston Villa, and Brighton now have one league win in their last eight outings, losing four of the last five.

Any hopes of a remarkable run into the European qualification spots are fading quickly, and they are sure to face a tough task in front of a buoyant St. James’ Park.

There was no separating these two sides earlier this season, as they drew 1-1 with Leandro Trossard scoring a penalty for Brighton before Isaac Hayden levelled in the second half.

Kick-off is at 3.00pm GMT on Saturday 5 March, and it is not being shown on UK TV. See below for international broadcast options.

If you’re out of the country for a round of Premier League fixtures, then annoyingly your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows where you are because of your IP address (boo!). You'll be blocked from watching it, which is not ideal if you’ve paid up for a subscription and still want to catch the action without resorting to illegal feeds you’ve found on Reddit.

But assistance is on hand. To get around that, all you have to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN), assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs. A VPN creates a private connection between your device and t'internet, meaning the service can’t work out where you are and won't automatically block the service you've paid for. All the info going between is entirely encrypted – and that's a result.

There are plenty of good-value options out there, including:
