OPPO rolls out AI Eraser Tool for photo editing to Reno11 Series

OPPO, a smart device company, has unveiled its latest innovation: the AI Eraser tool, set to roll out to the Reno11 Series. This addition aims to make high-quality generative AI photo editing accessible to its smartphone users and bring flagship-grade features to a wider audience.

The Reno11 Series, which includes the Reno11 Pro 5G, Reno11 5G, and Reno11 F 5G, will now offer users advanced generative AI image editing capabilities. 

“Reno11 Series is the first smartphone line at its price to feature such advanced generative AI image editing, and demonstrates OPPO’s commitment to enriching everyday experiences through technology for everyone,” said Leon Wang, director of Product Planning Department for Reno Series.

The AI Eraser tool simplifies the process of removing objects from photos. Users can effortlessly eliminate unwanted elements by circling them, without the need for complex editing techniques. Unlike other object removal tools, which may result in noticeable edits, AI Eraser employs sophisticated generative AI to deliver seamless and natural-looking outcomes.

AI Eraser offers users the ability to refine their photos. With AI Eraser Tool, users can easily remove distractions or clutter, ensuring their photos remain visually captivating and true to the moment’s essence.

The rollout of AI Eraser to the Reno11 Series begins in April 2024, with users in the Philippines being the first to experience this feature via an OTA update starting April 8.
