The new Dragon loved a new business which put some people off their dinners

Entrepreneur Steven Bartlett has shared the adorable reason he put in an offer for a controversial business.

Piddle Patch, founded by Canadian-born Rebecca Sloan offers a green solution to canine pollution as well as helping to train dogs.

Piddle Patch is a soil-free, real grass toilet for dogs to do their business on if you are toilet training your pooch, live in a flat, or have limited access to gardens or outside space.

It costs £32.50 and caught the attention of the new Dragon on the scene.

He offered all of the money for 25% of the business, and if his money returned by next year will drop to 20%.

Tweeting about the business, he wrote: "Here is my dog Pablo. We live together in central London, no garden. #DragonsDen"

Adorable Pablo can be seen lounging on a bed as his photo is snapped.

However some viewers said that the conversation on the BBC One programme put them off their dinner.

Someone wrote: "I hope no one's eating. #dragonsden"

Another added: "Lovely hearing about runny dog **** whilst I'm eating my tea #dragonsden."

After the programme aired, Steven added: "A lot of humans having their say on Piddle Patch, but the proof is in the peeing. Here is what happened when I brought Piddle Patch back to my hotel room for Pablo straight after the pitch.

"Debate over."
