Premier League fixtures announced for 2024/25 season
Albion and new head coach Fabian Hurzeler will take on Manchester United in a mouthwatering first home game of the new Premier League season.
United, who won at the Amex on the final day of last season just over a month ago, head to Sussex on Saturday 24 August a week after Albion kick off the new campaign with what is likely to be their final trip to Goodison Park to face Everton, who are due to move into their new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Albion have won their last three opening-day games on the road against Manchester United (2022), Burnley (2021) and Watford (2019).
We finish a tough opening month against last season's runners-up Arsenal at the Emirates on Saturday 31 August.
Promoted Ipswich Town head to the Amex on 14 September for the first of three home games out of four. A week later we host Nottingham Forest and after a trip to Chelsea we entertain Tottenham Hotspur on 5 October.
There are four midweek match rounds. Albion go to Fulham on 3 December and head to Portman Road to face Ipswich on 14 January before hosting AFC Bournemouth on 25 February and Aston Villa on 1 April.
Our first matches against the other promoted teams fall on successive Saturdays in autumn. Adam Lallana’s Southampton are the visitors on 30 November with a trip to Leicester City on 7 December, while the much anticipated fixtures against Crystal Palace are at the Amex on 14 December and Selhurst Park on 5 April.
Champions Manchester City visit the Amex on 9 November while a busy Christmas and New Year schedule sees Albion play four times in a fortnight. We head to West Ham United on 21 December, host Brentford on Boxing Day before playing Aston Villa at Villa Park three days later. Arsenal are the first visitors to the Amex in 2025 on 4 January.
The campaign finishes with a trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 25 May, a week after our final home fixture against Liverpool.
