Richard Keogh out for season with injury suffered in Derby team-mate's drink-driving crash
Derby County have confirmed that captain Richard Keogh has suffered a season-ending injury in the car crash which resulted in two players being charged with drink-driving. The Republic of Ireland defender, 33, is understood to have been a passenger in team-mate Tom Lawrence\'s Range Rover, which struck a lamppost on the A6 on Tuesday night. Lawrence and fellow Derby footballer Mason Bennett have since been charged with drink-driving and are due to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates Court on Tuesday, October 15.
