Ricky Gervais has been asked once again to host the Golden Globes next year for their 77th annual celebration of the film and TV industry. The genius behind Afterlife has already hosted the Globes, run by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s (HFPA) NBC, four times – in 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2016. That’s a record when it comes to Globes hosts. And he’s explained that once again he’s received an ‘offer I can’t refuse’ but that ‘this is the very last time I’m doing this’.
