United States Judge Rinder shares 'heartwarming' reunion with Strictly partner's Ukrainian family
Judge Robert Rinder has shared ‘heart-warming’ photos as he was finally united with the Ukrainian family of his former Strictly Come Dancing partner.
The TV presenter was partnered with Oksana Platero in the 2016 series of the BBC hit dance show and the pair become friends ever since.
Oksana's family escaped war-torn Ukraine after the country was invaded by Russia. Robert travelled to the Ukrainian border to offer as much help and support to her family as Oksana is currently trapped by work commitments in the US.

Rob said Oksana 'gifted him so much' during their Strictly stint in 2017 and that he wanted to try and meet them and bring them to safety.
The star has been updating fans on social media of his journey as well as reporting from the front line as the war continues.
On Wednesday, the 43-year-old confirmed he had managed to find Oksana's aunt and grandmother who have been displaced during the war.
Sharing photos on Instagram of his emotional meeting he wrote: "Oksana’s family: Auntie Lidya and Grandma Zoya.
"We managed to reach them this morning with a wheelchair & some medical supplies.. Despite having nearly nothing.. they are ‘grateful for everything’."
His post was flooded with support from fans and celeb pals including his Strictly co-star Daisy Lowe - who was partnered with Alijaz for the series. She commented: "Absolutely incredible."
Before being united he previously shared a photo of Oksana's grandmother and wrote: "Oksana’s grandma is 95.
"She spent a week fleeing Russian shelling & FINALLY crossed the Polish border with no wheelchair, food or medical supplies but she is resolute & strong.
"She remembers the last war & knows that ultimately they will return home and Tyranny will fail."

Earlier this week he spoke to ITV where he shared details of Oksana's family struggles. He also said it was "a gift" to be able to give something back to Oksana after his stint on Strictly.
He explained: "It's been such a gift to be able to give something back to Oksana - as silly as it is against this background - there was such joy in Strictly and I loved every bit of it.
"Then I discovered that her family were trying to flee Ukraine, avoiding shelling and managed to cross the border a couple of days ago."
