SAG Awards Red Carpet 2024 : See Every Dress, Outfit & Look

The 2024 SAG Awards, which celebrates excellence in both film and television, was the last major convergence of the short- and long-form media until the September Emmys. On the film front, the two halves of the Barbenheimer phenomenon tied for the most nominations, with four apiece, while Succession earned five – the most of any television show. Saturday night also marked the first SAG Awards since the end of the guild’s strike in November.

Idris Elba opened the show, and super fan Jennifer Aniston presented Barbra Streisand with the 59th SAG Lifetime Achievement Award for her work on and off screen. Other presenters included Jessica Chastain, Brendan Fraser, Cillian Murphy, Greta Lee, Colman Domingo, and – of course – SAG-AFTRA president Fran Drescher.

While the red carpet at the SAGs doesn’t get as much attention as at the Golden Globes or Oscars, it has still delivered some stellar fashion moments over the years. Last year, Aubrey Plaza sparked conversation with her cutout Michael Kors dress, Zendaya rocked a rosette-covered Valentino couture number, and Paul Mescal flexed his fashion muscle in Simone Rocha. Further back, there was Sarah Jessica Parker’s off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood suit from 2000, Lady Gaga’s breathtaking white Dior Haute Couture dress in 2019, and Halle Berry’s strappy, figure-hugging dress from 1995.
