Sarah Storey is Britain's most successful Paralympian, but as well as racking up Olympic medals she has amassed a huge fortune.

She has two children with her fellow cyclist husband, Barney Storey.

Where does Dame Sarah's fortune come from?

Unlike some of Team GB’s other sporting stars, it seems Dame Sarah has earned most of her money primarily through winning cycling and swimming events.

Many Team GB athletes earn hefty sums on the side through advertising campaigns or by appearing on TV shows.

For example, Adam Peaty, who brought home two gold medals from the 2020 Olympics, is thought to have been paid a minimum of £25,000 to appear on Strictly Come Dancing this year.
