Narcis Pelach post-match press conference
Pelach: "We knew it was going ot be a tough test for us, Sheffield United away, coming back from the Premier League with very good players, a good coach. We knew it was going to be hard but we always believed we could do something here. The first goal comes too quick; a deflection after a free-kick. You cannot really control that.
"But I think we were organised, we put an extra man in defence today in order to protect ourselves more but you are not going to have many chances so you have to take your moments in the game. We didn't. Ashley Phillips, Lewis Koumas missed two chances. Ashley Phillips missed another from a free-kick. You have to be clinical because you are not going to have many chances against Sheffield United away.
"They were solid. I expected them to be strong in duels and second balls and I think they were better than us in the first half. In the second half when Junho comes onto the pitch we trie to have had more ball possession and to try to control it more and I thought Junho and Seko brought us into another moment in the game. We could at least press with the ball as well.
"We didn't break through enough. I'm disappointed because there were moments in the game when we could do better and we didn't see the chance because we didn't do the previous pass well enough. We didn't see the speed of Lewis or Tom Cannon in the first half because we didn't get into those positions.
"It's happened in other games so we need to improve this area of the game."
