PS5 restock goes fast at Shopto and Game – here's where to look next

PS5 fans have been frantically trying to snap up a console this week after two retailers dropped new supplies online.

Fans surged to GAME's website when the video game retailer released two new batches of the highly sought after console.

While many fans were finally able to get their orders in - with up to 10,000 estimated to have been released by GAME - thousands more were left frustrated and empty-handed again.

Another restock was announced on ShopTo on Friday, but the website crashed immediately as piled on in a bid to secure their console.

As fans reported queue positions of up to 20,000, the company suggested people leave if they were not close enough to the front, before confirming it had sold out in the afternoon.

Argos the popular high-street retailer is expected to get stock as early as next week, reports suggest.

Tipster PS5StockAlertUK revealed that they may be able to be purchased in just a few days.

“Argos will go live next week rather than the week after,” Twitter tipster @PS5StockAlertUK said.

“I will announce an exact date when possible in a few days.”

Smyths Toys

Smyths has recently reassured fans new stock is definitely coming at some point before the end of the month.

Sources have suggested that it could then be arriving in the next two weeks - so is definitely one to watch.

Very is also expected to put the PS5 back on sale very soon.

There is no date set but it is worth checking back daily to see if any new stock drops.

Scan

Scan is a massive tech retailer in the UK that mainly supplies PC components but does also supplies other tech like headphones and PS5s.

The best thing is Scan also updates the amount of PS5 stock it needs to fulfill and when it receives stock.

ShopTo

ShopTo is a gaming retailer based in the UK that has supplied games and consoles for years. It is only a small retailer but regularly opens preorders for PS5 consoles.

ShopTo ran out of stock yesterday - so it might take a while for more stock to drop.
