Sienna Miller's Anatomy of a Scandal wardrobe redefines modern power dressing

Sienna Miller has made an exciting return to our screens today, as Anatomy of a Scandal has debuted on Netflix.
The show sees the 40 year old take on the role of Sophie Whitehouse, a woman who is rocked by a revelation involving her husband James.
The series boasts plenty of twists and turns well worth tuning in for, but we also can't help admiring Sienna's character's stunning wardrobe – which includes expert lessons on power dressing.
It is a trend that has been around for years, but we're now seeing a shift as the likes of Kate Middleton and now Sienna have shown how easy the trend is to pull off.

For Sophie's wardrobe, costume designer Sam Perry – who also put together the impeccable looks featured in Killing Eve – has used an array of luxury brands with high price tags, including Max Mara and Celine.
Speaking to the Times, Sam said: "Clothing is power but it isn't necessarily happiness. Your whole world can still fall apart if you're wearing a nice frock."
She continued: "[Sienna's character Sophie] isn't a woman that used her sexuality to get what she wanted. She dresses well because she has the money to afford that lifestyle. But she is not a vain character."
The characters outfits have been put together to create meaningful messages.

Later in the series, we see Sophie dressed more casually, which is representative of not only her life unravelling around her but also a sign of rebellion.
Her style might be understated with long-sleeve dresses and simple staples, but it perfectly represents how many modern women want to dress.
Forget shoulder pads and the days of masculine suits, now it's all about roll neck jumpers and crisp tailored camel coloured coats.
We've also seen these lessons from the Duchess of Cambridge, who is a fan of a tailored suit but also is the queen of a stylish coat.
There's no need to buy countless items too – a strong capsule wardrobe can be established with around 15 to 20 pieces.
Whether it's wide leg trousers, a roll neck, a belted blazer or a go-to coat, your outfits will always be ready for you to treat the pavements as your runway.
