End of your satellite dish? Sky offers another big reason to change how you watch TV

End of your satellite dish Sky offers another big reason to change how you
watch TV
Sky continues to move away from satellite technology and now there's another reason to join the streaming revolution.

All of Sky’s latest and greatest devices including Sky Stream and Sky Glass have ditched the dish and moved to broadband technology instead. That means all live and on-demand shows, sports and movies are beamed to the screen via the internet rather than a traditional over-the-air signal.

Sky is clearly keen to get customers switching to streaming with the firm currently offering its Stream box for free - the deal even includes Netflix thrown in as well. Full details about that deal can be found here.

However, that one-month freebie is not the only reason to move away from the dish stuck to your chimney.

Sky’s NOW service has also just launched an epic offer that includes every Sky Sports channel for £21 per month. This bundle usually costs a hefty £36 so there’s a 40 percent saving to be made.

Those signing up will get access to a total of 12 channels including Sky Sports Football, Sky Sports Premier League, Sky Sports F1, Sky Sports Golf and new Tennis service.

There’s also a month of NOW Boost thrown in for free which offers content in full HD along with the option to watch on more devices.

The £21 per month lasts for a full 12 months - that’s a pretty rare deal from Sky as most of its previous deals have been for 3 or 6 months only. With a year of access, you'll get to see the entire 2024 Formula One season along with the climax to this year's exciting Premier League season.

Tuning into NOW is pretty simple with this service available on devices includng a whole swathe of devices such as most smart TVs, games consoles, Fire TV Sticks and more.

Along with that Sky Sports offer, NOW has also discounted its Entertainment and Entertainment + Cinema bundles with prices starting from £6.99 per month. These deals, which include channels such as Sky Cinema, Sky Atlantic and Sky Documentaries, last for six months.
