Tottenham transfer plan to be 'determined tonight' as scout watches Champions League tie
Tottenham could decide to launch a late move for PSV Eindhoven winger Nonu Madueke after this evening's Champions League clash between the Dutch heavyweights and Benfica, according to reports. The 19-year-old, who left the Spurs youth setup to join PSV back in 2018, is believed to be a target for the north London club ahead of this month's transfer deadline.
Madueke has firmly established himself as one of Europe's most coveted assets during his time in the Netherlands.
He made 32 appearances in all competitions for PSV last season, chipping in with nine goals and eight assists in the process.
The winger, who is equally comfortable when deployed through the middle, is also a regular for England at youth level.
Spurs are said to be keeping tabs on Madueke's progress and could look to re-sign their former academy starlet before the end of the month.
Club representatives are expected to be in attendance at tonight's meeting between PSV and Benfica in order to assess the man from Barnet, according to the Daily Mail.

The report claims that at least 10 sides from across the continent dispatched scouts to watch the first-leg clash, which resulted in a 2-1 win for the Portuguese giants.
Spurs were said to be one of the interested parties in question, while talent-spotters from Manchester United and Leicester City were also understood to have been present.
It will be no surprise if a similar number of scouts attend the second-leg clash at the Philips Stadion, with PSV needing to score to stand any chance of progressing to the Champions League group stages.
Madueke has already provided seven goal contributions since the beginning of the new campaign and will be expected to lead the charge for his side once again this evening.
DON'T MISS
He has three years left to run on his current deal at PSV, who are reportedly determined to hold onto their prized asset for at least another season.
The Eredivisie outfit are said to be keen on selling the forward in a year's time as they believe his value will skyrocket over the next 12 months.
However, many of Madueke's suitors are believed to be keen on testing PSV's resolve with bids over the coming days.
A fee in the region of £34million could potentially be enough to tempt his current employers into parting ways, but it remains to be seen whether Spurs director Fabio Paratici would sanction a late approach for his services.

The 49-year-old has already welcomed Bryan Gil, Pierluigi Gollini and Cristian Romero to the club this summer.
PSV boss Roger Schmidt recently warned Madueke's admirers that he will not be sold before the window slams shut in just seven days' time, suggesting that a quick-fire move could be difficult to engineer for Spurs.
"I'm not afraid [of Madueke leaving]," Schmidt told reporters earlier this month. "Why should I be? He will one day leave PSV if he continues to develop like he is now.
"I'm not afraid it will happen now. We can't sell key players anymore. We've already done that with Donyell Malen, Denzel Dumfries and Pablo Rosario, so we can’t lose any more.
"And PSV is also a fantastic club for Noni to develop. He is very young, he can play a lot here, score goals and cheer with the team. I think he feels very good here."
