ITV The Chase: Bradley Walsh calls security after man mimics him on the show

The Chase's Bradley Walsh was briefly replaced on the hit quiz show until security was called in last night.

Comedian Joe Pasquale took up the presenter's spot at the top of a special edition of the programme confusing viewers at home, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Then the camera panned to Bradley who was sitting in the director's chair backstage and called in security who chased Joe across the stage.

It was all part of a new spin-off show called The Chase: The Bloopers and included snippets and unseen footage.

One moment included Bradley trying to keep it together when faced with the question: "The breakfast food known in Scotland as 'tattie scones' go by what name in Ireland?" "A. Fadge, B. Menge, or C. Clonge."

People at home loved the chance at seeing what goes on in-between takes on the ITV show and took to Twitter to share their thoughts and favourite moments.

User Rambo_0784 said "Hilarious as always", while Scalednicyyy added: "Bradley Walsh is hilarious."

Attila_hun said: "I wish they didn’t edit out or cut shorter these fun bits from the regular episodes."

Poppa1138 chimed in: "#thechase #chasebloopers my sides are hurting."
