Transfer deadline day live Arsenal Liverpool Man Utd amp Chelsea
The first day of February means that the transfer window is almost closed with Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and a whole host of Premier League sides open to late deals on the final day - Mirror Football will have live updates, right here, through

It's the final day of the transfer window and Premier League clubs have until Thursday night's 11pm deadline to get their business done and their houses in order.

Arsenal's search for a new striker reached a dead end with Ivan Toney, but Victor Osimhen is now being linked with a switch to North London in a potential blockbuster move from Napoli.

Chelsea will have all eyes on them as they look to bring in some much needed funds, but the Blues don't want to sell Tottenham target Conor Gallagher. Instead, they're hopeful that someone meets their asking price for Armando Broja.

Manchester United have let a number of fringe players move on this month - as well as Jadon Sancho - so will Erik ten Hag be able to bring in any new faces to give his side a much-needed boost? And what about Liverpool - it's been all outgoings in Jurgen Klopp's final window as Kop boss so far, will they do any incoming business?

Follow all the latest transfer news, rumours, gossip and those all-important done deals, right here, throughout the day.

Pellistri set for Man Utd exit

Manchester United winger Facundo Pellistri has joined La Liga side Granada on loan for the rest of the season.

The Uruguay international’s wages are being covered by in full by Granada, who have also paid United a loan fee to facilitate the deal.

Pellistri, 22, started United’s opening Champions League group game, a 4-3 defeat at Bayern Munich in September, but saw his first-team opportunities lessen with the emergence of Alejandro Garnacho, and was already behind Marcus Rashford and Antony in terms of a wide position in attack.

Will Chelsea finally sell Broja?

It's been an interesting month for Armando Broja.

Playing regularly for Chelsea but all the while knowing that he's kind of doing it because there hasn't been anyone else... all while the club look to sell him.

They've been in negotations with both Fulham and Wolves, but are asking for a loan deal with an obligation to buy for a fee in excess of £30million in the summer. Neither club want that obligation, and prefer an option.

Thus the deal has gone nowhere. Someone will need to budge with regards their demands for it to get done today. Will anyone?

Ten Hag's warning to Rashford

Not transfer related, but Erik ten Hag has told Marcus Rashford he has to take responsibility for himself following his boozy Belfast trip.

Rashford returns to Manchester United's squad for tonight's Premier League trip to Wolves, after apologising to Ten Hag and his team-mates for his latest transgression.

The England striker was dropped for Sunday's FA Cup win at Newport after calling in sick for training on Friday and Saturday, following his Belfast bender.

United boss Ten Hag said: “He has taken responsibility. So, case closed.

“In football, you need discipline and that is on the pitch, but also off the pitch, because there's a line between.

“Every player knows this, every professional knows this and knows what is required.

“I didn’t pick Marcus on Sunday. Now we draw the line from that point and we move on.”

Juventus set to land Southampton's 'Charly'

Juventus are set to complete a deal for Southampton midfielder Carlos Alcaraz.

The Italian giants expect to complete a loan deal with an option to buy for £35m in the summer. Alcaraz only moved to Saints for £12m from Racing Club last January but is now keen to move to Juventus from the Championship.

He will help Juve fill the void left in their midfield by Paul Pogba's absence.

Southampton's loss is eased somewhat after they landed Wales international David Brooks on loan for the rest of the season from Bournemouth this week.

Moyes backs Phillips to give West Ham boost

David Moyes believes Kalvin Phillips can have a similar impact to that of Jesse Lingard at West Ham.

Lingard moved to the Hammers on loan from Manchester United in January 2021 and helped fire them into the Europa League with nine goals in 16 matches.

Midfielder Phillips may be a different style of player but, having signed him on loan from Manchester City, Moyes is expecting big things.

“His pedigree over the years has made me feel he’s a player I’d like to have at the club,” he said. “For some time he’s been a mainstay of the England national team. He’s someone who has been a really good player. The move to City hasn’t worked as well as he would have liked.

“This time a couple of years ago we got Jesse Lingard, he really helped us. I’m hoping Kalvin can have a similar impact as what Jesse had.”

Phillips will be hoping the move helps him cement his place in the England squad for this summer’s Euros.

“Everybody has something to prove,” added Moyes. “Jesse had something to prove and Kalvin has as well. There is a big competition at the end of the season where he’ll be hoping to be in good form."

Good Morning!KEY EVENT

Welcome to deadline day!

Good morning, we’re here already…the final day of the January transfer window, it’s been a thriller hasn’t it!?

Premier League clubs spent £815million this time last year, so to match that we need the busiest single day in transfer history. Let’s be optimistic!

OK, so while we haven’t had the earth-shattering deals we’ve come to expect, there could still be some movement before the window shuts.Tottenham have conducted the most eye-catching business, bringing in Timo Werner and Radu Dragusin. And they continue to be linked with Conor Gallagher, in one that could go down to the wire.

Speaking of Chelsea, will Todd Boehly really be able to sit back and watch as other teams do what he loves most?

Manchester United have also been known to hit the red panic button on a day synonymous with yellow ties. Odion Ighalo anyone? They still need some help in attacking areas, but it looks increasingly likely Erik ten Hag is happy to stake his reputation in a squad that has scored four fewer times than Luton.

Today also marks the final day that Liverpool could make a transfer with Jurgen Klopp as their manager. They’ve pulled a few rabbits out of the hat in Januarys gone by, maybe one more for the road?

Regardless, we’ll cover every rumour, every medical, every mad dash up the M1 and every done deal, so stick with us.
