London Underground and train cancellations and closures as Easter Weekend begins

As the weekend gets underway there are several closures and cancellations in place on the London Underground and train networks. There are planned closures on 5 TFL services today (March 29) and National Rail has shared an update on which London stations have been affected by major engineering works.
The TFL services affected by planned or part closures today are:
- DLR - There is no service between Tower Gateway and Shadwell from today until Monday (April 1).
- Elizabeth line - Today and tomorrow (March 30) will see a reduced service between Paddington and Maidenhead / Heathrow. And from today until Monday there will be no service between Abbey Wood / Stratford and Paddington.
- London Overground - Between today and Monday there will be no service between Highbury & Islington and New Cross / New Cross Gate / Clapham Junction.
- Trams - There is no service between Wellesley Road / George Street and Beckenham Junction / Elmers End / New Addington until April 24.
- Waterloo & City line - It operates on working days between 6am and 12.30am.
On Network Rail there is major engineering works taking place this weekend. There will be problems between London Euston and Milton Keynes Central due to engineering work.
And there are closures between London Liverpool Street and Colchester. Construction work is taking place for the new Beaulieu Park station, plus track maintenance work.
