West Brom predicted XI v Huddersfield as Carlos Corberan gives nod to
magic man
Here’s how we predict West Bromwich Albion to line up against Huddersfield Town in the Sky Bet Championship.

West Bromwich Albion head out on the road once again this Sunday afternoon as they take on Huddersfield Town in the Sky Bet Championship.

Following the battling 2-2 draw at Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday night, the Baggies will be keen to get back to winning ways to relieve some of the pressure in the play-off fight. A defeat for seventh-placed Norwich City at Middlesbrough has extended the gap to five points but there's still plenty of time for things to change.

Huddersfield are in a similar position to QPR, so another tough test awaits. The Terriers are above the relegation zone merely based on goals scored, with Stoke City on the exact same points and goal difference below them in 22nd. Huddersfield have won two of their last five matches and drew 1-1 with Leeds United last weekend.

Carlos Corberan, facing the team he led to the Championship play-off final two seasons ago, is bound to show plenty of respect for his opposition. West Brom are likely to field as strong a lineup as possible, albeit with several key players out. With that in mind, here's the XI we predict will be named at John Smith's Stadium.

Palmer will be disappointed with the manner he conceded Sam Field’s first goal at QPR but he made up for it with a superb penalty save.

1. GK - Alex Palmer

Furlong made a vital clearance off the line at Loftus Road, effectively earning his side the point. He was solid all game, especially in the air.

2. RB - Darnell Furlong

Furlong made a vital clearance off the line at Loftus Road, effectively earning his side the point. He was solid all game, especially in the air.

Kipre got away with one against QPR as he used his hand to clear the ball away from the goalmouth. He’s been one of Albion’s best players this season, though.

3. CB - Cedric Kipre

The Nigerian played fairly well off the bench midweek and he may have earned himself a start, with a change at left-back facilitating that.

4. CB - Semi Ajayi

The Nigerian played fairly well off the bench midweek and he may have earned himself a start, with a change at left-back facilitating that.
