EastEnders fans 'work out' upsetting Zack Hudson twist that will see Whitney Dean leave Walford for good

EastEnders fans have been left fearing the worst for Zack Hudson's relationship with Whitney Dean after spotting a clue during Monday's episode of the BBC soap. As fans will know, Zack recently tried to kiss Lauren Branning after his pregnant girlfriend refused to return to Walford from Milton Keynes.

Whitney was adamant she wanted to stay in Milton Keynes so she could foster a young neglected girl called Britney, but Zack urged her to put the needs of herself first - and those of their unborn baby. However during the latest trip to the Square on Monday (March 25), Zack prepared for Whitney's anticipated return and along with Sonia Fowler, Chelsea Fox, Penny Branning and Lauren, organised a baby shower to surprise the expectant mum.

But before the celebration got underway, Lauren visited Zack and asked why he was walking on eggs shells around her. She demanded that Zack "chilled out a bit" before Whitney starts to ask questions and confirmed she wouldn't tell Whitney about his near kiss.

Zack then told Lauren how he loves Whitney as she reminded him again that he tried to kiss her. The dad-to-be confessed he's struggling to put his behaviour behind him as he tried to put a baby cot together.

Later, Whitney arrived back in the Square but she was not alone. Zack was horrified to see Britney in tow as she called Whitney her "foster" mum during a cheeky conversation with Linda Carter.

Viewers are now convinced the truth about Zack trying to kiss Lauren will surface once Whitney gives birth and she will leave Walford to for a new life Milton Keynes with Bianca Jackson. Taking to X, one fan wrote: "I think the truth will come out about Zack's kiss with Lauren when Whitney gives birth."

A second stated: "I hope Zack's near miss kiss with Lauren doesn't come out when Whitney returns to Walford later.". A third chimed in with: "Zack & Lauren I see it coming a mile away. Poor Whit #EastEnders."

"Whitney was selfish before the Lauren kiss. She really doesn't care what Zack thinks. I feel both of them have selfish habits in the relationship and I want it over already. They clearly want different things.", added one fan.

"I still think there is a connection between Lauren and Zak and I think they will get together once Whitney leaves. #EastEnders", said another.
