Rey Mysterio & Andrade defeated Santos Escobar & Dominik Mysterio at WWE WrestleMania 40 with help of NFL legend Jason Kelce.

WrestleMania 40 saw Rey Mysterio team up with Andrade to take on his own son, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, alongside Santos Escobar of Legado del Fantasma.

The Mysterio family drama took center stage once again as Rey found himself entangled in a web of conflict with both his son and Escobar. Despite Rey’s previous victory over “Dirty” Dom at WrestleMania 39, their rivalry took an unexpected turn when Escobar of Legado del Fantasma launched a vicious assault on Rey, leaving him sidelined with a debilitating injury.

Upon his return, Rey found an unlikely ally in The LWO, joining forces to take down Legado del Fantasma and even aiding Carlito to victory in a Street Fight against The Emperor of Lucha Libre. Yet, the animosity between Rey and Escobar persisted, leading to a heated one-on-one showdown that was marred by the interference of none other than Dominik himself.

In a shocking twist, Dominik‘s betrayal only intensified the tensions, leading Rey to challenge both Dominik and Escobar to a tag team match at WrestleMania alongside Dragon Lee. However, on the latest episode of SmackDown, Lee was unexpectedly taken out backstage, leaving Rey in need of a new partner.

Entered Andrade, the former ally turned foe turned ally once more, who has now cemented his allegiance with Rey Mysterio, with Zelina Vega by their side, Rey and Andrade reunited to face off against the formidable team of Dominik and Escobar.

As the WrestleMania showdown looms large, the stage is set for a clash of family ties, loyalty, and redemption. Will Rey and Andrade emerge victorious and settle the score once and for all, or will Dominik and Escobar prove to be an insurmountable challenge? Here’s the answer.

For the third match of the day Santos Escobar was the first one to take stage. He came alongside Angel Garca, Humberto Carrilo and Elektra Lopez, then came Dominik Mysterio and both the men went together inside the ring.

Next entered everybody’s favourite, Rey Mysterio with the LWO alongside Andrade. Both the men entered the ring together. Andrade wore a green mask during his entrance pointing towards his Lucha Libre roots. With the bells ringing Rey Mysterio and Escobar started the match.

After a tag from Escobar then came Dom both father and son started brawling untill Andrade tagged himsellf in beating Domink Mysterio to a pulp. Rey started setting his sights on Dominik Mysterio but Dom as cunning he is finds a way to take advantage of the situation.

Then the match continued as Dom and Escobar kept on having the momentum but it shifted as Andrade was again tagged in. As, Andrade kept beating Escobar and Dom, Rey tagged himself in hitting Escobar with a 619. Then an all-out brawl between the LWO and Legado Del Fantasma happens where everyone starts flying.

Then came an unknown man who helped Rey Mysterio to pick the win against Escobar and Dominik, it was none other than Former Philadelphia Eagles legend, Jason Kelce. And just like that Andrade and Rey Mysterio pick up the win.
