Anthony Joshua disagrees with Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury ...
Oleksandr Usyk beat Tyson Fury in their highly anticipated rematch but Anthony Joshua disagreed with the judges’ unanimous 116-112 scorecards.
The Ukrainian delivered another impressive display in Saudi Arabia by catching Fury with several clean shots and outworking his opponent particularly in the latter rounds.
However, Fury started the contest brightly and many believed that the 36-year-old had done enough to make it a tough evening for the three judges at ringside.
But after the final bell, all three judges scored it 116-112 in favour of Usyk, who retains his WBA (Super), WBO and WBC heavyweight world titles.
Joshua, who could now be in line for a mega fight against Fury next year, was scoring the fight for DAZN and his final tally was 115-114 in favour of Usyk.

Joshua scored the fight 115-114 in favour of Usyk
Speaking after the fight, Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, hit out at the 116-112 scoring in favour of Usyk.
‘How could Tyson only get four rounds in this fight? It’s impossible,’ Warren said.
‘He’s very disappointed, as I am.’
Meanwhile, Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hearn, felt Fury had done enough to win more rounds on the judges’ scorecards.
‘I couldn’t split them, I thought it was a draw,’ Hearn said.
‘I thought there were so many close rounds.
‘I really struggled to split them, it was more of a chess match tonight, I had it very close. I just didn’t feel it was an 8-4 fight.
‘I thought it was very, very close but consistency from the judges, I thought that was good to see.’
