The Bill actor Chris Ellison has been diagnosed with the same brain disorder as Bruce Willis. People with aphasia often have trouble with the four main ways people understand and use language.

Aphasia can affect a person's ability to speak, understand speech, read, and write. It is usually caused by damage to the brain from a stroke, head injury, or neurological condition. Treatment for aphasia may include speech therapy, cognitive therapy, and medication.
