Arnold Schwarzenegger Teases Mystery Zeus Project Coming in February
Whatever this is for, the poster alone will have any Arnold Schwarzenegger fan on board. On Twitter, Schwarzenegger posted an image of what looks like a movie poster for Zeus featuring Schwarzenegger in the role. The actor is being very vague by only saying that Zeus is coming in February, leaving it up to the fans to wonder exactly what this means in the meantime. You can see the Twitter post below.
No studio or streamer names are included on the poster, and it looks pretty odd that a full-length feature film or series would be developed under the radar with Schwarzenegger starring as Zeus. Some are speculating that this will actually be for a TV spot to air during the Super Bowl, which is going down on Feb. 13. If that's the case, then what exactly would this be promoting? All will be revealed in February, and maybe Schwarzenegger is getting exactly what he wants by getting everyone talking in the meantime.
Some fans may remember how Schwarzenegger played Hercules, son of Zeus, in the 1970 film Hercules in New York. Ernest Graves played Zeus in that movie. Another incarnation of Zeus will soon be seen on the big screen as Russell Crowe plays the Greek god in the upcoming Marvel sequel Thor: Love and Thunder.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Fans Are Hoping King Conan Is NextSeeing Arnold Schwarzenegger as Zeus is only reminding some of the actor's fans of how much they want to see the King Conan movie finally happen. Early in his career, Schwarzenegger played another iconic warrior as the lead star of Conan the Barbarian in 1982. He followed that up with Conan the Destroyer in 1986. For many years, fans have wanted to see a third installment in King Conan, and many are reiterating those thoughts in response to the Zeus poster.
"I’m excited for you, you’ll make a fantastic Zeus!!! But I also want to see King Conan," writes one fan.
Another fan says, "Eyyy Schwarzenegger It's the perfect moment to continue the story of Conan the Barbarian, you remember: Akiro ends the story: “...in time, he will become a King by his own hand... but that's another story.”
"It's a movie that I've wanted to do for a long time. Let's do it," Schwarzenegger said of King Conan in 2019.
Time will tell if King Conan ever happens, but because the original Conan movies helped make Schwarzenegger such a big star, it would be fun to see him return to the role in a legacy sequel as a way of bookending his career. The continued fan demand for the sequel can only help its chance of getting made. As for Zeus, more will be revealed about this mystery project in February.
Ivan Reitman will direct a sequel to Twins called Triplets with Tracy Morgan joining original stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito.
