Report: Arsenal have two injury doubts ahead of North London Derby vs Spurs

Football.London have revealed that there are doubts over whether Gabriel Magalhaes and Juirrien Timber will play a part in the clash against Tottenham on Sunday.

Arsenal travel to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for what is arguably the biggest game of both club’s seasons so far.

Spurs will have to get three points to stay within touching distance of Aston Villa in the race for fourth place while they will also be keen to dent their rivals’ title tilt.

According to reports, Ange Postecoglou could be boosted by the return of Richarlison for Sunday’s game while Pedro Porro could also feature (The Standard).

Arsenal’s injury situation for North London Derby

Football.London point out that Arsenal centre-back Gabriel picked up an ankle problem towards the dying stages of their 5-0 win over Chelsea and the Brazilian is said to be a doubt for this weekend’s clash.

Meanwhile, Jurrien Timber made his comeback from a long-term injury this week, featuring for Arsenal’s Under-21 side against Blackburn on Monday, but it is suggested that he might not make his return to senior football until next month.

It would be a big blow for Arsenal if Gabriel is out but the fact that he finished the game against Chelsea suggests that the injury is not serious. So one would expect the centre-back to be fit to start on Sunday.
