Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher hilariously shut down split rumours with Instagram video

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have hilariously hit back at split rumours, poking fun at a recent headline in an Instagram video.

Kutcher and Kunis, who married in 2015, teased an American magazine after they reported that their marriage was “over” because Kunis had felt “suffocated” and that she had left, with their children.

After her husband asks her “what’s going on?”, Kunis holds up a headline reading “It’s all over” to the camera as they both react with fake shock.

“It’s over between us? Oh my god, what are we going to do?” Kutcher gasps before Kunis goes into more detail about the “split” – telling him he had a “very dark secret exposed”.

Kutcher continues: “Oh my gosh, what was the dark secret? It must have been really dark.”

The actor, who first met Kunis on the set of That 70’s Show, uploaded the video to his Instagram page with a direct message to the publication in question.

He wrote: “Guess it’s over @intouchweekly have fun selling magazines this week. Maybe next week my wife will be having twins. For the third time. But who’s counting.”

Fans applauded their satirical video, thanking them for “calling out rumours” and joking about the “burn” they had delivered.

One wrote: “BRAVO. Now that's a very classy way to handle those gossip rags!!”

Another said: “Seeing you two together will never not make my heart smile.”

“I love the fact you did this and put them in their place,” read another comment. 

Kunis last year opened up about the moment her friendship with Kutcher turned into more during a candid chat on Dax Shepard’s podcast Armchair Expert. 

The actress revealed that she had actually been stood up for a blind date when she found herself alone with Kutcher, prompting the two to hang out.

She previously dated Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin for almost a decade before their split in 2011. Kutcher was married to Demi Moore from 2005 to 2013.
