The organization announced that Clint Capela experienced discomfort late in Saturday night's game against the Golden State Warriors. The big man underwent an MRI on Sunday, which determined that he will have to be sidelined for at least a week.

Capela was diagnosed with a left adductor strain and will be re-evaluated in 7-10 days.

If the period of absence prolongs, Capela might only return after the All-Star Weekend, which ends on February 18th.

A 10-year NBA veteran, Capela averages 11.5 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game for the Hawks this season.

With 22 wins and 27 losses, the Hawks are currently 10th in the Eastern Conference.
