The Australian-born hooker, limited to just one Test appearance for England due to his injury setback, is now set to potentially don the Wallabies jersey, having inked a deal with the Western Force.

Following the revelation that Dolly would depart from Leicester Tigers at the conclusion of the season, reports from The Roar disclosed that the 24-year-old has committed to a multi-year contract with Simon Cron’s Force outfit.

This move opens the door for Dolly to be considered for selection by the Wallabies, should head coach Joe Schmidt decide to summon him for the Autumn Internationals later this year.

McKellar said that his answer would be similar when asked about Nic Dolly, who is also leaving the club.

Dolly’s rugby journey saw him join Leicester Tigers midway through the 2020/21 campaign from Coventry Rugby, his previous club.

Starting his career in Australia, Dolly showcased his talent in the youth ranks of New South Wales Rugby Union and Eastwood Rugby, before crossing shores to England. There, he earned recognition in the England Under-18s setup while plying his trade with Sale Sharks in 2017.

The versatile forward gained valuable experience on loan spells with Sale FC, Rotherham Titans, and Jersey Reds. He also represented England in the Under-20s Six Nations and Junior World Championship in 2019 alongside fellow Tigers teammate Joe Heyes, before embarking on his stint with Coventry ahead of the revised 2020/21 season.
