Glasgow Aye Write book festival to celebrate life and work of Aladair Gray for 15th anniversary
Glasgow\'s book festival Aye Write will be celebrating its 15th birthday in March with a huge line-up of book themed events. The events will take place across three long weekends, returning from Thursday 12 March. It will hold debates, conversations and events based on brilliant books. Among the literary superstars appearing this year are Booker Prize 2019 winner Bernardine Evaristo, Maggie O\' Farrell, Val McDermid and Joanna Trollope and there will be a free celebration of the life and work of acclaimed artist and author Alasdair Gray who died in late 2019. Bake-Off judge Prue Leith, Strictly\'s Anton Du Beke, Michelin starred chef Tom Kerridge, actor and singer John Partridge, Channel 4 journalist and author Jonathon Rugman, actor and comedian Greg McHugh and Ben Stewart and Oliver Knowles from Led By Donkeys will also be joining in. Aye Write will also be tackling big issues on the day in the company of Michael Cashman, David Lam
