BBC EastEnders' Nish Panesar's return 'sealed' as he remains ...

EastEnders' Nish Panesar's return to the soap could be sealed, weeks on from him disappearing.

The character hasn't been onscreen for weeks ever since he was disowned by his family. His actions finally proved too far for his loved ones, who kicked him out of the house and told him never to return.

Amid his plan to work out who really attacked him on Christmas Day and what The Six were hiding, he also targeted Kat Slater to try and get his hands on Phil Mitchell's money. Nish ended up assaulting Kat before he went on to attack ex-wife Suki, with his sons Vinny and Ravi walking in and seeing.

Ravi dragged him out of the house and took his keys so he could not return, with Nish seen staggering out towards the Square. We have not seen him since, with fans unsure if he's left the soap.

But with him yet to return, there could be something in upcoming scenes that triggers his comeback. Viewers know that as far as Nish is aware, Keanu Taylor attacked him on Christmas Day and then fled Walford.

Of course viewers, and a handful of residents, know what really happened was Denise Fox attacked Nish to stop him killing Suki. he survived the incident but suffered memory loss, and he was unconscious while a separate incident happened in the next room.

Keanu got into a row with partner Sharon Watts after their wedding day well apart, and he started strangling her. With Suki with Nish, it was up to Kathy Beale, Linda Carter, Stacey Slater and Denise to try and stop Keanu from killing Sharon, with Linda stabbing him.

Keanu died from his injuries and the women buried his body under the floor of the café before vowing to cover up the crime, hence the story about Nish's attack. So with Keanu's body being found this week and the truth finally revealed about his whereabouts, surely Nish is going to have some questions.

Of course there is every chance Keanu could have been murdered by someone after his run-in with Nish, if The Six run with that story. But surely Nish is going to be wondering whether Keanu did in fact attack him, given he was killed that very same day - so might he return to Walford for answers, and possibly solve the truth about what happened to both him and Keanu all those weeks ago?
