United States RIP Ashley Gearhart: Age and bodybuilder’s career explored
Bodybuilding fans were shocked by the news of Ashley Gearhart’s passing, as her death was confirmed this 6 February, 2022.
Generation Iron reported that the IFBB Pro Physique Bodybuilder had passed away last month. Her family confirmed Gearhart’s passing in a statement released to Facebook.
News of her death comes days after the passing of Tom Prince was announced, leaving bodybuilding fans reeling with the news.
Ashley JoAnn Gearhart was a professional bodybuilder and the owner of Strength Inside Out, a fitness service which aims to help athletes reach peak physical strength without neglecting their mental health.
Gearhart’s first competition was back in 2013 in the bikini division. In her first year, Gearhart placed first. She progressed to Women’s Physique later in her career and that became her focus division. Gearhart obtained her pro card in 2018.
Ashley Gearhart excelled in the Women’s Physique category, claiming first place in the 2017 NPC North Carolina State Championships and the 2018 NPC North American Championships.

Ashley Gearhart joined TikTok and decided to share some facts about herself, including her age.
In one video, posted on 6 March 2021, Gearhart revealed that she was 36 years old and that she was a Capricorn. This means that her birthday was between 22 December and 19 January.
This also means that Ashley Gearhart was 37 years old at the time of her death. This checks out with her competing in the Women’s Physique Masters 35+ division of the 2020 IFBB Baltimore Classic Masters Pro.

The Sun reported that Ashley Gearhart “died in her sleep but her cause of death currently remains unknown.” She passed away on 29 January, 2022.
