Car seized after being abandoned near town centre
On August 3, officers were called to reports of a car on Back Baldwin Street looking abandoned.

On further inspection, it was discovered it had no insurance, had damage and was parked in a dangerous position.
The vehicle was subsequently seized.

A spokesperson for GMP Bolton South said: “On Saturday 3 August 2024, Neighbourhood Officers from the Rumworth and Hulton team attended a report of a vehicle being abandoned on Back Baldwin Street.

“On conducting further checks it was established that the vehicle had no insurance, damage to the vehicle and was parked in a dangerous position.
“The vehicle was seized, and further enquiries will take place to locate the owner.”
