Brad Pitt receives joint custody over children with Angelina Jolie
Brad Pitt will now have more time with his children, following a judge ruling of joint custody during his ongoing court battle with ex-wife Angelina Jolie.
Pitt has been granted joint custody over five of his six children that he shares with Jolie: Pax (17), Zahara (16), Shiloh (14) and twins Knox and Vivienne (12). The eldest adopted child, Maddox (19), is no longer part of the custody case as he’s now legally an adult.
Judge John Ouderkirk’s ruling was a “tentative decision” and Jolie didn’t object to joint custody but there were “other issues of concern", according to the BBC.

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in 2016, citing "irreconcilable differences", and since then they’ve been locked in a private custody battle.
Pitt was accused of abusive behaviour after losing his temper in front of some of their children, however, the actor was later cleared of allegations.
The couple, previously known as “Brangelina”, first met on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith in 2005, tied the knot in 2014, and were officially divorced in 2019.
Jolie spent quarantine with her six children, who currently live with her full-time, telling E!: "You know, I've never been one who valued relaxation. I like chaos."
"I've been on high-level meetings where there are dogs and balls and kids and things," she said. "You kind of just enjoy being human with everybody else and laughing through it."
