Robert Sanchez returns in goal and the Spaniard will be protected by a defence that includes Malo Gusto, Tosin Adarabioyo, Trevoh Chalobah and Marc Cucurella.

Moises Caicedo continues in the Chelsea midfield – and wears the captain's armband – and he will feature alongside Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

Having scored off the bench on Monday night, Pedro Neto comes into the attack. Cole Palmer and Jadon Sancho keep their places and Christopher Nkunku replaces Nicolas Jackson, who is not included in the squad due to injury.

Our substitutes' bench includes Academy graduate Ishe Samuels-Smith, Aaron Anselmino and Mathis Amougou, the latter two of whom are named in a Chelsea match-day squad for the first time.

Chelsea: Sanchez; Gusto, Tosin, Chalobah, Cucurella; Caicedo (c), Dewsbury-Hall; Neto, Palmer, Sancho; Nkunku

Chelsea substitutes: Jorgensen, Acheampong, Colwill, Anselmino, Samuels-Smith, Amougou, Fernandez, Madueke, George,
