Two British Airways cabin crew have been sacked over apparent footage of them mocking Chinese passengers surfaced online.

Holly Walton was filmed apparently making racist eye gestures and using a Chinese accent to say “Give me wine,” The Sun newspaper reported.

The footage was filmed with colleague Lauren Bray, before it was posted onto TikTok.

The pair are now no longer employed by the airline.

A source told the paper: “This recording is obscene. For anyone to have such racist thoughts, to then film them and share it with the world, is shocking and dumb in equal measure.

“This is hugely damaging for the airline and they deserved the axe.”

The pair were said by colleagues to be mocking a Chinese family on a flight who spoke little English and attempted to order drinks on a flight.

The paper reported the video was shot after the pair had earlier served passengers on flight BA2157 from Gatwick, and while they enjoyed drinks on a night out at the luxury Trade Winds hotel in Antigua.

The cabin crew members had regularly posted footage and photos on social media from their travels with the airline.

BA is said to have posted letters to members of staff last year warning them of the need to use social media responsibly after after passengers on a flight to Kingston, Jamaica, reportedly complained that they had overheard staff mocking their accents.

A BA spokesperson said: “All forms of racism are completely unacceptable, and we take allegations of this nature very seriously.

“These two individuals are no longer employed by us.”
