Burnley vs Wolves Kickoff time match odds and team news
Bruno Lage’s Wolves will want to keep alive their hopes of European football next season by picking up a victory at managerless Burnley on Sunday, who themselves are desperately fighting for survival

Wolves return to Premier League action for the first time in over two weeks when they travel to face Burnley on Sunday, where they will look to return to winning ways in order to keep alive their hopes of European football next season.

But their hosts won’t be prepared to roll over easily despite their position in the league table, and are now just one point from safety following Thursday’s win over Southampton as their great escape goes on.

A victory for Wolves would keep them in eighth but could see them draw level on points with West Ham, while anything but a defeat for the Clarets would lift them out of the relegation zone, although they’ll want three points.

When is Burnley vs Wolves?

Burnley vs Wolves will kick-off at 2pm on Sunday, April 24 at Turf Moor.

The last meeting between these two sides came in the reverse fixture back in December, when the Clarets held their hosts to a 0-0 draw at Molineux Stadium.

A game of few chances was reflected in the result as Wolves struggled to break down a resilient Burnley side on their own turf, with Bruno Lage’s outfit remaining sixth as the two teams shared the spoils.

Team news

Caretaker manager Michael Jackson will be tempted to stick with the same side that defeated Southampton on Thursday, despite playing just three days ago, as he looks to continue with a winning formula, although he will continue to be without four players here.

Ashley Westwood (ankle) will find out whether he needs to undergo surgery following his horrendous injury at West Ham United last week, and remains ruled out with Johann Berg Gudmundsson (calf), Ben Mee (calf) and Erik Pieters (knee).

After having the past two weeks off without a game, Bruno Lage’s Wolves should be feeling refreshed by the time they face Burnley on Sunday, although they are expected to remain without three players.

Max Kilman picked up an injury in training this week and is ruled out for Sunday’s tie along with Daniel Podence (foot), while Ruben Neves (knee) remains a doubt, but Raul Jimenez will return from suspension and Ki-Jana Hoever (thigh) will face a late fitness test to determine his availability.
