A MAJOR pizza chain is launching a Cadbury Creme Egg-themed treat in time for Valentine's Day - and foodies are buzzing.

Domino's is adding Creme Egg cookies to menus nationwide within days, but fans will have to be quick.

The pizza chain is selling the sweet treat, perfect for your next date night, from February 12 until April 8.

The cookies, two years in the making, combine Domino's' cookie dough, stuffed with a whole Cadbury Creme Egg which is then baked.

Anyone keen on the cookies can order a box of two through the Domino's app and in Domino's branches for £6.99, although prices may vary.

You can download the app via the Apple App Store or Google Play.

News of the iconic collaboration has already hit Facebook, and fans have been left in shock and awe.

A post of the cookies on the Newfoodsuk page has already notched up over 2,000 likes and 6,000 comments in the space of just five hours.

One buzzing fan said: "I can confirm these are banging," while another joked: "I'd die for these."

A third foodie quipped: "This is why I'll never be skinny," and a fourth commented: "Omg, this changes everything!"

Another said: "First thing I saw after saying I need to lose weight."

It comes after a number of retailers unveiled Valentine's Day meal deals to treat your loved one to on a budget.

Co-op shoppers can get an authentic Italian pizza and a bottle of fizz for £12 while Tesco shoppers can pick up a Mediterranean platter and puddings in the retailer's meal deal.

Aldi has also unveiled its Valentine's Day meal deal - and the three-course meal works out at less than £4 per person.

Meanwhile, Morrisons' £15 deal for two is also made up of three courses.
