Calafiori partner denies announcing Arsenal transfer after fake

Some media was taken in by a fake profile pretending to be model Benedetta Boeme, which claimed that Riccardo Calafiori was going to Arsenal, but she has now denied it.

Websites including La Gazzetta dello Sport posted the story suggesting that she had broken up with the Bologna defender after a video circulated showing him flirting with an unknown woman on vacation.

It was a message on TikTok confirming Boeme had broken up with Calafiori, “could not forgive” him for the indiscretion and wished him well in his new future at Arsenal.

Boeme denies Calafiori statement

However, Boeme does not have a TikTok account and she released a statement via her official Instagram Stories to clarify the situation.

“I am forced to write here that I have no TikTok profile!! Someone is pretending to be me and writing things that are not true!

“This is my only social media account. I have never talked about anything and I never will. I kindly ask whoever opened the TikTok profile pretending to be me and writing personal and delicate things, which then get reported as articles in the media, to immediately close the profile, otherwise I will take legal action.”

While Calafiori is reportedly on the verge of a move to Arsenal for €45m plus bonuses and a percentage of the sell-on fee, it has certainly not been announced by his girlfriend.

There may well be problems between them, because both have effectively scrubbed mention of each other from their Instagram accounts, but there has been no official break-up announcement either.
