The Masked Singer star Carol Decker had one symptom before ...
The Masker Singer star Carol Decker noticed a significant change in her body when on tour - but initially thought it was nothing to worry about.
During a tour of Germany in December 2022, the T'Pau singer noticed she was suffering from chronic diarrhoea. While it can be a sign of something more sinister, Carol initially believed it was just a nervous tummy.
She told the Daily Express last year: "I was on a huge tour across Germany with a big concert called Night of the Proms. I have always had a nervous tummy before big shows and I thought it was that.

"It didn't seem to go away and I was living on Imodium. By February, it still hadn't calmed down, and my husband, Rich, said, 'You've got to go to the doctor's'," she added.
Thankfully, after taking her husband's advice to seek medical attention for her peculiar symptom, Carol would soon discover that she had a very large polyp (a tissue growth) in her colon.
After discovery of the potentially cancerous growth, Carol was booked into the Churchill Hospital in Oxford to have the tumour removed with the guidance of Associate Professor of Colorectal Surgery, Professor Chris Cunningham.
Much to Carol's delight it was found that her tumour was benign meaning that it wouldn't spread to other parts of her body after it's removal.
Explaining the condition more widely, Professor Cunningham said: "All polyps start as benign growths but can become cancerous, and this is one major reason to have all polyps removed if safe to do so. In some cases this change happens when the polyps are small, but other polyps may grow very large without becoming cancerous."
Meanwhile, according to the NHS most polyps tend to go undetected due to the lack of symptoms that they cause and it is usually only during a colonoscopy that they are discovered.
But, in rare instances, larger polyps can cause symptoms including; "a small amount of slime (mucus) or blood in your poo, bleeding from your bottom, a change in your normal bowel habits, such as diarrhoea or constipation and losing weight without trying."
In last night's Masked Singer, it was revealed that Carol was the singer behind the Tattoo costume as she gave the audience a rendition of the Killers hit track Human before then singing Proud Mary by Tina Turner in a bid to have her identity hidden.
But, to her misery, Dressed Crab was saved from elimination instead while Carol was unmasked.
