Netflix has unleashed a new competition series that's causing quite the stir among viewers, following the success of Squid Game season two. The latest addition is Bear Grylls' survival challenge, Celebrity Bear Hunt.
The gripping show pits 12 celebrities against the wilds of the Costa Rican jungle, with the added twist of Bear Grylls himself on their trail, seeking to hunt them down.
As the stars face a variety of tasks and the pressures of cohabitation over a gruelling two-and-a-half-week period, they must also evade the fearsome 'Bear Pit' to avoid elimination.
With the series premiere hitting Netflix today (February 5), social media has been abuzz with fans sharing their first impressions.
One eager viewer took to Instagram, saying: "First episode was mad! So excited to binge watch the rest of the season as soon as I can", reports the Mirror.

A different user anticipated more thrills, posting: "@netflixuk can't wait to watch the rest of the series, the first episode was brilliant."
And yet another fan praised the show's unique allure: "What an incredible and intriguing concept! I'm absolutely thrilled and can't wait to see more episodes."
Among the celebrity contestants braving the jungle are Spice Girl Mel B, tennis icon Boris Becker, design maestro Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, broadcaster Steph McGovern, and ex-rugby star Danny Cipriani.
Also vying to stay in the competition are Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas, rapper Big Zuu, The Saturdays star Una Healy and The Inbetweeners actor Joe Thomas.
Completing the line-up are model Lottie Moss, actor Kola Bokinni and fashion model Leomie Anderson, with Holly Willoughby taking on the role of presenter for the grand show.
The show was shot last year in the Costa Rican jungle in Central America, where the celebrities had to endure the weather and all the daunting aspects of the jungle from animals to bugs. The jungle is a thick forest with numerous trees growing closely together and leafy vines that interconnect.
It's also teeming with animals that have the freedom to wander around and often sounds of the animals singing, chattering and calling to each other can be heard.
The 12 stars were also tasked with cohabiting in a house not far from the jungle, implying that spending 24 hours a day together would inevitably lead to conflicts and disputes.
