WE'RE into 30 minutes of extra time at Hampden after Ester Sokler's fine header pegged Celtic back at 2-2 after James Forrest looked to have booked their spot in the Hampden showpiece.

The Dons shocked their Glasgow opponents with a fine Bojan Miovski goal within the first two minutes only for an Angus MacDonald mistake to lead to a Nicolas Kuhn equaliser.

The Hoops lost out on the Viaplay Cup earlier this season following their shock knockout in the last-16 to Derek McInnes' Kilmarnock last August.

Aberdeen fell short in their quest for the League Cup at the very last hurdle after reaching the final in December but Philippe Clement's side came out on top to win 1-0 at Hampden that day.
