Countdown fans baffled as Susie Dent missing from Channel 4 show: 'No Rachel AND Susie!?'

She revealed: “Dictionary corner is being managed completely by the man who has made a Birmingham accent seem sexy.

“He’s also somebody I can listen to even if he’s talking about West Bromwich Albion,” the presenter added.

Adrian replied: “I mean, that’s a great compliment to get Anne. I must say, I feel cheated to be here and not to be able to spend the afternoon with Susie.

“But, not half as cheated as the audience who must be very disappointed not to have Susie,” he noted.

“They’re already ringing in,” Anne joked.

Countdown airs weekdays at 2:10pm on Channel 4.
