Cheryl left CRYING with laughter as superfan pranks her live on BBC Radio 1
Cheryl couldn't contain herself as she was pranked by Radio 1's Chris Stark during a live interview.

Cheryl got more than he bargained for when she joined Scott Mills on BBC Radio 1 to discuss her new single.

The popstar was told she would be taking part in a quiz about herself and competing against a superfan called Steve.

But little did she know that it was actually fellow presenter Chris Stark on the phone in another room, poised and ready with hilarious answers to throw her off.

Steve started off successfully, correctly guessing that Cheryl's first number one solo single was Fight For This Love.

However, when Scott asked what breed Cheryl's beloved dog Buster was, he had a slightly more unusual response.

"Chihuahua," Cheryl replied, but then Chris intervened as Steve.

"I think I was first...", he said.

When Scott pushed him for an answer, he then shouted: "Gay!"

"Did you just said gay? Cheryl, is your pet gay?," a bemused Scott responded.

"I think so, but I don't know how he could know that," Cheryl sniggered.

After Chris confirmed that "gay" was in fact Steve's answer, the singer couldn't contain her laughter any longer.

Wiping her eyes with a tissue, Cheryl's face said it all as she laughed hysterically at the apparent crazed caller.

But Chris didn't stop there, also leaving her in stitches as he recited all of her number one hits while playing his Steve character, and saying his name between each one.

Plus, when asked who won FHM World's Sexiest Woman back in 2009, Chris guessed Nadine Coyle when in fact it was Chezza.

The popstar was on the popular radio show to promote her latest single, Let You.
