Cardiff-headquartered MyHealthChecked – which specialises in home-testing – has appointed a new chief financial officer.
Nick Edwards has joined on a part-time basis immediately ahead of taking up his position full-time no later than September 2022.
He moves from Viscose Closures, where he was finance director for two years, and more than 20 years of experience to the role having worked across multiple industries and commercial organisations.
Elsewhere, Lesley Innes has been appointed as a non-executive director, chair of the audit committee and company secretary, while Laura Moore has left the board, both with immediate effect.
Innes is an experienced chartered accountant (FCA) who combines public and private company board experience with the technical skills gained at a senior level working at KPMG.
Chief executive Penny McCormick said: "The last 12 months have been incredibly dynamic for the company and as we issue our suite of at-home wellness tests this quarter, the support and experience brought by Nick and Lesley will be invaluable as the business continues to grow.
"I would like to thank Laura for her support as we have integrated Nell Health into the business. Laura's knowledge and industry expertise has been valued as we continue to develop new tests and products.
"I wish Laura all the best and continued success in her future endeavours."
